Нелинейные явления в ионосфере

В основу обзора положен доклад автора на Научной сессии Отделения физических наук РАН, посвященной 90-летию В.Л. Гинзбурга. Изложено современное состояние экспериментальных и теоретических исследований нелинейных явлений, возникающих при распространении в ионосфере радиоволн высокой мощности. Основное внимание уделено модификации ионосферы вследствие резонансного возбуждения собственных колебаний плазмы под действием радиоволн. В верхнегибридном резонансе возникают интенсивные верхнегибридные и нижнегибридные плазменные волны, возбуждаются сильно вытянутые ионосферные неоднородности, генерируется искусственное радиоизлучение ионосферы. В окрестности двойных резонансов, когда верхнегибридная частота близка к величине, кратной частоте гиромагнитного вращения электронов, происходит полная трансформация нелинейных процессов. В области ленгмюровского резонанса возбуждаются интенсивные плазменные и ионно-звуковые волны, эффективно ускоряются электроны, возникает искусственное свечение ионосферы.
